Message John Paul Beckman works here at Z1 and here are some pics of his car. He is 18 and has built the car on his own with a budget. Very creative thinker. He has done a lot of custom stuff that not only works but it put down 533 rwhp a couple weeks ago with minimal tuning running below 10:1 airfuel. Ash is putting the Zemulator on it this week and we expect over 600 easily.
Motor is completely stock out of one of our parts cars with around 150k. Frontmount IC was made from 4 stock cores with busted end tanks from our wrecks. A NX nitrous intercooler chiller is mounted to the front mount. Rather than 555cc injectors he just used two supplementary TT injectors and he is running around 90 psi fuel pressure under boost. A pedal box allows for lots of extra room in the engine bay. The car uses electric fans and an electric water pump kit which we distribute and have installed on several cars and it works beautifully, no overheating problems. The Water pump is capable of more volume than the stock pump, has variable speeds, and is set up to run for a few minutes after the motor is turned off. Everything cools down quick. There are also two gauges for temperature readings for the water coming in and out of the engine for research of optimal water pump speeds. It also uses a custom radiator mounted in front beneath the IC for even better cooling. It even has an electric power steering pump. Good luck finding a Z that revs faster.

Other mods include:
75mm thottle bodies, Garrett T-28 turbos, Dual MASs positioned near compressor inlets, custom AP triple disc clutch, custom AP brakes, 6 piston front calipers, 14" rotors, 13.1" rear rotors. Custom hemispherical bearing motor mount on the torque side of the motor with a stock mount on the other side results in no unusal vibration because motor is allowed to pivot. Energy Suspension urethane transmission mount (domestic fits with minor modification). Custom Aluminum subframe bushings, all custom delrin rear suspension link bushings, custom Hicas eliminator, Tokico 5 way adj shocks, Eibach pro kit, Suspension Techniques sway bars, Stillen tension rods, Energy Suspension front control arm bushings. I haven't driven in a more responsive Z.
The car is a everyday driver that we run to get lunch in.
A built motor is in the works with larger turbos not far behind.
He will hit 1000hp soon. Doubt it if you like. We sometimes are skeptical of his ideas but he always makes them work.
John Paul (Ab) is currently involved in our Z1 skunkworks program (which results of may be sighted in the coming months) and has become the master of cutting and sectioning pipe. All the products and services are available through Z1.
